I bought it new in the box. It was used for a couple of months and is in excellent condition. It assembles and dis-assembles easily and comes apart in 4 easy-to-carry pieces. We used it in a NY apartment and it was easy to carry it up 4 flights of stairs. Mattress is in excellent condition.
